Yes! Polyneon Green is the same product as Polyneon, with the added benefit of being made with 100% recycled material. You’ll experience the same strength and reliable runnability with Polyneon Green, just like you have with Polyneon.
No. There have been no changes to any of our color formulas, and you will be able to move seamlessly from Polyneon to Polyneon Green. You’ll find our standards for shine and texture for Polyneon Green will continue to match the high expectations and consistency you’ve come to rely on with Polyneon.
No. Swap in a cone of Polyneon Green and let the machine do its magic. No adjustments to your tensions or needle will be necessary.
Yes! Because Polyneon Green threads have the same color and shine as Polyneon, there will be no discernable difference when combining them in the same design.
No. Polyneon Green has the same colorfastness and bleachability as Polyneon. You and your customers will continue to follow the same laundry and care guidelines as listed on your Polyneon color card.
The transition from Polyneon to Polyneon Green will be a two-step process. Ultimately, you’ll be able to order colors using the same 4-digit color code that you’ve always used. In the meantime, we’ll provide you with the tools necessary to assist you during this transition. As always, we are ready to help make this process as smooth as possible for you.
Yes, eventually our entire line of polyester colors will all be Polyneon Green, in both large cones and MSC sizes. Large cones will continue to be available in full 10-cone boxes.
Yes. Polyneon Green will eventually be available not only in standard 40-weight but also in 60-weight and 75-weight threads as well.
No! Polyneon Green is available at the same low price.
Until the entire changeover to Polyneon Green is complete, you will receive one or the other, or a mix of both, based on availability.
While Polyneon and Polyneon Green threads will look the same, you will notice that Polyneon Green is wound on light green cone cores instead of Polyneon’s gray ones. You will also notice the top of the Polyneon Green cone core is labeled Polyneon Green (recycled).
