These large chrome plated appliqué scissors have a unique protective bill that prevents accidental fabric and thread nicks. Perfect for machine appliqué, when it is time to trim the appliqué fabric after the tack down stitches have been sewn. The curved handles allow you to trim appliqué fabric while the design is in the hoop. The extra wide bill slides underneath the appliqué fabric for trimming, while it glides to the top of the garment fabric. Can also be used for neatening seams, trimming quilt batting and lace and cut-work embroidery.
